Bishop Larry & Apostle Syles
Bishop Larry and Apostle Syles are the founders and Senior Pastors of Rivers of Living Water Ministry, Inc., serving both the Brevard County and Seminole County campuses. Their first love is Jesus Christ, and they believe that serving Him is their reasonable service and life’s calling.
With hearts devoted to God and a deep desire to fulfill His will, they are committed to leading people into a deeper relationship with Christ. Their passion is calling youth, young adults, and adults back to God while helping to rebuild broken places and restore communities through faith, truth, and love.
Bishop Larry has served in ministry for over 25 years, while Apostle Syles—raised as a “PK” (preacher’s kid)—has been in ministry for over 33 years. Together, they are known for their ability to unpack the truths of Scripture and apply them in practical ways that help believers live out their faith in today’s world.
Professionally, Bishop Larry serves as a Government Property Manager, while Apostle Syles is a licensed Attorney and Realtor in the State of Florida.
Together they are the proud parents of three precious daughters and the loving grandparents of six beautiful grandchildren.
Pastors Rodney & Gay
Pastor Rod dedicated his life to the Lord at an early age and has faithfully served in ministry for many years. Throughout every assignment he has been given, he has worked diligently alongside pastoral leadership and ministry teams with a heart for service and obedience to God.
During his journey as a disciple, Pastor Rod has served in numerous roles within the church, including Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Mid-Week Service Teacher, and Assistant Pastor. Today, he faithfully serves as Pastor of the second location of Rivers of Living Water Ministry, operating under the leadership of Apostle Syles and Bishop Larry Carter.
Pastor Gay N. Williams is lovingly known as a “PK” (Preacher’s Kid), as she is the daughter of the late Apostle Archie Williams and Inez O. Williams. She practiced law for over 25 years in the Orange, Osceola, and Seminole County areas and later retired from the Brevard Board of County Commissioners.
Throughout her years in ministry, Pastor Gay has served in many capacities including Prayer Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Finance Director. Today, she serves alongside her husband in shepherding and overseeing the congregation at the Cocoa, Florida campus of Rivers of Living Water Ministry, under the leadership of Apostle Syles and Bishop Larry Carter.
Pastor Rod and Pastor Gay have been married for over 30 years. They are the proud parents of one son, Keevin, and daughter-in-law Lanora, and the joyful grandparents of three beautiful grandchildren: Zariah, Kamari, and Aneliah.
Together, they remain committed to serving God, strengthening the church, and helping lead others into a deeper relationship with Christ.
